Cancellations or No-Shows

1. What if I need to reschedule my appointment after a therapist has accepted the job?

We understand that last minute emergencies happen. During our Beta test, there will be no charge for last minute cancellations. Please remember that your therapist has set aside this time for you, and a no-show is lost revenue.

2. How soon should I expect a response for my appointment request?

Our goal is to have your massage booked within the hour. Please note that if you request your next day appointment late at night, the booking may not occur until the next morning.

3. Are gift certificates available?

Our goal is to have gift certificates available in the near future.

4. Should I book a massage when I'm sick?

It's not a good idea to get a massage if you have a cold or the flu. You don't want to get your therapist sick!

5. Can I use health insurance?

We do not accept health insurance; however, we can provide an invoice/receipt for self-billing. Please check your insurance for out of network benefits.

6. Where will my session take place?

Your session will take place in any variety of clinic, spa or chiropractic offices within your vicinity. All of our locations have been vetted in person to ensure that they meet the highest standards.

7. How early should I arrive for my appointment?

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment.

8. When will my card be charged?

Your card will be charged when the massage begins.

9. How much should I tip?

Tipping is greatly appreciated, but not required. The average tip ranges between 10-20%. You will have the opportunity to add a tip at the end of your session.

10. What is included in the session time?

Typically, the therapist will have you fill out an intake form and discuss your specific needs for the session. You will then have time to undress to your comfort level in private.

11. What if I feel uncomfortable during my session?

You should never feel uncomfortable during your session. Our therapists abide by a code of ethics. If you ever feel this code has been compromised, please contact administration at hello@curemassageapp.com. You will also have the opportunity to rate and give feedback about your massage at the end of each session.

12. Do I get to choose my therapist?

You will have the opportunity to choose the type of massage that a therapist specializes in and if you prefer male/female or either. You will be matched with the first available therapist that meets these specific needs.
